On August 4, 2023 the Central Oregon community will gather at Drake Park for the third annual Balanced Bend Mental Health Festival. This free community festival is founded on the belief that mental health is built on a balanced lifestyle that includes many aspects of well-being. Balanced Bend is dedicated to community healing, connection, and education. Participants can sample products and services from a variety of local wellness providers, teachers, and organizations that contribute to mental health.

In its first year, 2022, Balanced Bend hosted more than 30 organizations and 300 participants. Last year, more than 45 organizations joined us and we are continuing to grow! Attendees and volunteers will enjoy live music, movement classes, free massage, and a family fun zone all in the spirit of celebrating mental health.

our mission

1. Provide an experience that promotes mental health and wellness through a day of collective wellbeing at no cost to attendees.

2. Connect community members to resources for sustainable health and wellbeing.

3. Raise funds for the Wild Heart Therapy + Consulting scholarship fund, which makes therapy accessible by providing free and reduced-rate services and educational workshops.
